SHIPPING METHODS
FROZEN GOODS
We use either 40-ft refrigerated container units (reefers) or 20-ft reefers for exporting frozen products. Please note 20-ft reefers to not be available on all shipping routes. We normally use Xingang (Port of Tianjin) as port of loading, although the Port of Qingdao is a viable but more expensive alternative.
FREEZE-DRIED GOODS
These can be shipped as parcels or consolidated by land or sea. Shipping by air is possible but rather expensive as a volumetric freight rate is used for calculating freight rate due to the goods being lightweight. We can ship from the airports of Tianjin or Beijing, depending on the destination.
PAYMENT TERMS
We quote using either FOB (strongly preferred), CIF or CNF terms. Currency: USD or CNY (RMB).
We request a prepayment of 35% of the FOB invoice value, with the remaining balance needing to be paid after the buyer has been provided with a copy of the Bill of Lading. The Bill of Lading is released to the buyer after we have received the outstanding balance.
We request payments to be received by bank wire, also called Telegraphic Transfer (T/T). This keeps everybody honest and leaves a clear audit trail.
