Frozen Antarctic krill (Euphausia superba) are becoming an ever more popular fish feed. As krill feed on marine phytoplankton, they are an excellent source of marine derived proteins, polyunsaturated fatty acids, and astaxanthin, one of the natural carotenoids responsible for the vibrant and vivid colors of many fish and crustaceans.
Our frozen krill blister contains shred krill and as such can be fed to juvenile or small:
- Freshwater carnivorous or omnivorous fish: Arowanas, Oscars, Blood Parrots, Flowerhorns, piranhas, Koi etc.
